Find Your Way
Home to Yourself

As an intern therapist in Bellingham, WA, I help individuals heal developmental trauma, release shame, and build an authentic sense of self for lasting connection.

Are you feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of who you are?

Do you often feel like you're searching for something just out of reach? Many people describe a feeling of being lost, unsure of their place, or like they're living behind a mask.

This can stem from early experiences or developmental trauma that shaped how you see yourself and the world, impacting your relationships, work, or sense of belonging. If you're experiencing anxiety, depression, or a deep sense of shame that keeps you from truly connecting, know that you're not alone.

I offer a supportive space to unpack these feelings, helping you discover the authentic self that's always been there, waiting to emerge.

Hello! I'm Emma, and my main goal as a therapist is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space to help you understand yourself better and feel more in control of your life. My approach is caring, focuses on our relationship, and is trauma-informed. This means I believe that real change comes from genuine connection and acceptance.

During our sessions, we'll delve into the stories and patterns that have shaped your inner world, helping you connect the dots between where you've been and where you are. This process aims to build deeper insight into yourself and your relationships, leading to real change..

I especially enjoy working with college students and young adults who are going through life changes. This time often brings up questions about who you are, what your purpose is, and where you belong.

My experience as an academic and executive function coach for college students with ADHD has also given me a strong appreciation for neurodivergent brains. This helps me support clients in understanding their identity and embracing their authentic self.

My Approach

I'm currently an intern therapist completing my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University.

My clinical work is being conducted at Accent Counseling and is closely supervised by Elizabeth Foster, LMHC (#LH60918641) and by my dedicated university faculty. This comprehensive supervision ensures I provide compassionate, ethical, and evidence-informed care.
